Sign up for their public beta program to get the update.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-ios-11-3-beta-phase\">iOS 11.3 Beta Phase<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>When signing up and testing Apple\u2019s latest software update, remember that it\u2019s a little rough around the edges. You\u2019ll likely experience apps randomly crashing or battery performance issues. That is natural&nbsp;as Apple continually improves their product until its official release sometime this spring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-checking-the-battery\">Checking the Battery<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you\u2019ve installed iOS 11.3 on your iPhone, navigate to <strong>Settings<\/strong> > <strong>Battery<\/strong> > <strong>Battery Health (Beta)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You\u2019ll find a section on the Battery Settings page that shows details on your iPhone\u2019s battery\u2019s health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shown are your battery\u2019s current state and a description of how its health impacts your device\u2019s performance. You will be informed if your\u00a0iPhone is being throttled and will be provided an option to disable the feature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the event that your iPhone randomly shuts down due to battery health issues, the feature will enable itself automatically. The protocol prevents future random shutdowns by design.
