What is Peacock TV? <\/b><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Peacock TV is a new on-demand streaming service launched<\/a> by NBC on July 15. Starting now, you can watch 13,000 hours of content for free, including hundreds of major motion pictures, thousands of hours of TV shows from NBC, live news, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new streaming service is named after NBC\u2019s iconic peacock logo. The service has already been available for Xfinity Flex and X1 customers, and it was just made available to everyone recently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What Can You Watch on Peacock TV?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Peacock TV includes an extensive library of shows from NBC, including Parks and Rec, 30 Rock, and more. You can also binge-watch the entire series of Battlestar Galactica and Saved by the Bell. And, if you love reality TV, Peacock has every season of Storage Wars, Undercover Boss, and so much more.<\/p>\n\n\n

There is also a great collection of movies, from Reservoir Dogs to The Matrix, and everything in between. Peacock has also started putting out original content, like Brave New World, a show based on the dystopian novel by Aldous Huxley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new streaming service comes with a wide range of content, including late-night talk shows, kids programming, sports, and more. It will also have dozens of live channels with free, curated content available to subscribers 24\/7.<\/p>\n\n\n

Is Peacock TV Really Free? <\/b><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You can watch thousands of hours of content on Peacock TV for free, but it also comes with two paid subscription tiers. You can pay $5 for a premium plan to get double the content. Or you can pay $10 to get all the content ad-free and the ability to download any movie or episode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Free – <\/em><\/strong>You can access about 13,000 hours of content for free when you sign up for a plan. This free subscription comes with ads, but you might only have to watch two or three minutes\u2019 worth of ads during an entire movie.<\/p>\n\n\n

\"Audio<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n

With a free plan, you can watch old TV shows and movies, news, sports programs, as well as some original content from Peacock. This also gives you access to some of their genre channels, such as the SNL Vault and NBC\u2019s Spanish-language programming. However, you won\u2019t get 4K or HDR content with this plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Premium<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 With a Premium plan, you still have to watch ads, but you will get access to the entire Peacock TV library, which has about 20,000 hours of content. If you are a Comcast Xfinity TV, Flex, or Cox Communications subscriber, you can get a Peacock Premium plan at no extra charge. For everyone else, the monthly fee is $5.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this plan, you get to enjoy all the content under the free tier, plus access to all original Peacock content and live sports programs. You also will be able to watch episodes of the current seasons of new NBC shows the day after they are aired.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With a Premium plan, you will be able to watch movies and TV shows in 4K or HDR.<\/p>\n\n\n

Premium Plus <\/em><\/strong>– The third subscription tier costs $10 per month. It includes all content in the Premium tier, but you won\u2019t have to sit through any ads. With the Premium Plus plan, subscribers can also download movies or TV shows to enjoy them offline at any time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Noted: Both paid plans come with a 7-day free trial period. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where Can You Watch Peacock TV? <\/b><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You can stream Peacock TV on a wide range of devices, including Apple TV and Android TV. Or you can use a PlayStation 4, an Xbox One, or a smart TV like LG Smart TVs, Vizio TVs with SmartCast. Finally, you can also use devices that are powered by Google Chromecast.<\/p>\n\n\n
