Now, Apple is finally giving you a way to unlock your iPhone with your Apple Watch. That means you won\u2019t have to enter your passcode or take off your mask to unlock your iPhone. Here\u2019s how to use the new public betas to unlock your iPhone with your Apple Watch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before you can unlock your iPhone with your Apple Watch, you first need to download and install the iOS 14 public beta on your iPhone and the watchOS 7.4 public beta on your Apple Watch. This can be a little risky because public betas are unofficial software updates, which means there might be bugs. However, we have been running a public beta for years without any issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once the public betas are installed on your devices, you can unlock your iPhone when your Apple Watch is unlocked (which it probably is if it\u2019s on your wrist), and it\u2019s located nearby. Then you will need to change some settings on your iPhone. Finally, when you try to use Face ID to unlock your iPhone, you will feel a little buzz from your Apple Watch, and your iPhone should unlock.<\/p>\n\n\n

How to Download and Install iOS 14.5 Public Beta on Your iPhone<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To download and install an iOS public beta on your iPhone, go to Apple\u2019s Beta Software Program website and sign in with your Apple ID. Then tap Download Profile<\/em> and Install<\/em>. When your iPhone restarts, go to Settings > General > Software Update > Download and Install<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  7. Once your iPhone restarts, open Settings.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
