Apple fans have yet another new service to watch out for this fall. In a recently held special event, Apple unveiled the Apple TV+ along with other new services, such as Apple News+, Apple Card, and Apple Arcade. The announcement happened in the Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino, California.

Home for Creative Storytellers

Apple TV+ is the tech giant’s new streaming video service. Dubbed as “the new home for the world’s most creative storytellers,” it will feature exclusive original shows, movies, and documentaries. It will touch base on different genres from celebrated artists such as Steven Spielberg, Oprah Winfrey, Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Jason Momoa, Jon M. Chu, and many more.

Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of Internet Software and Services, mentioned that they prepared a lineup of only the best storytellers in the world. That will make Apple TV+ home to some of the highest quality original storytelling that TV and movie lovers have yet to see. The company envisions subscribers enjoying different inspiring and authentic stories with emotional depth and compelling characters.

Apple is releasing new services that seek to make a difference.

The Apple TV+ streaming video service has the company’s signature on it. As mentioned by Tim Cook during his keynote speech, Apple loves TV and Apple TV+ can enrich lives through impactful and relatable storytelling.

The New Apple TV App

The service will exclusively be available on the new Apple TV app. The latest version of the application comes with a new design and provides convenience and accessibility to users. As Apple describes it, it is the ultimate way to watch TV.

It allows you to take control of your channels by subscribing only to the ones that you like. You can also share shows with up to six family members. Additionally, you can discover favorite shows from streaming services, such as ESPN+, Amazon Prime Video, and many more.

The TV app also provides access to over 100,000 movies, which you can rent or buy. It includes the latest blockbusters from iTunes, and you can watch all that you’ve previously purchased from the service as well. The app also allows you to watch top-rated TV shows from leading cable providers while on the go.

The application provides its users with choices that will suit their preferences. It comes with suggested movies in Watch Now, which is based on the kind of shows you like to watch often, and the history of films you already watched or are currently watching. It also has a dedicated section for kids and an easy search option for sports lovers to get live scores and watch coverage of their favorite games.
