This particular announcement was one of the most. After all, the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL are the new flagship products by Google. Positioned to compete directly with the new Apple iPhone X.

The new Pixel 2 phones will be available in two sizes. This alone is one breakthrough feature that Google believes will be the key to stand out in the smartphone industry. Google Pixel 2 features a 5-inch OLED display with up to 1080p in picture quality. Meanwhile, the XL version will have a 6-inch OLED display with HD capabilities as well.

According to Google, these new phones will also feature the best quality cameras you will ever find on a smartphone device. The nearly edge-to-edge display is also a notable feature. The Google Assistant is one of the highlighted features of this smartphone, too, and is going to be integral to the reason why buyers would want to own this smartphone. A few software additions and the fast charge feature (get up to 7 hours of use for 15 minutes of charging) will take your smartphone experience to the next level.

Pixelbook Laptop

Another major announcement at this year’s Made by Google event is the release of the newest addition to the Chrome Book platform. This new laptop will have a touchscreen and can also be folded to make it work like a tablet device. In addition, the laptop will come with its own pen, which is perfect for notetaking and drawing.

Home Mini and Max by Google

These two smart speakers are the newest additions to the Home product range from Google. It is obvious that the Mountain View-based company recognized the popularity of Amazon’s Echo, and they have just released a good contender. These speakers come equipped with a host of innovative features. And, yes, you can communicate with them via voice commands.

The Home Mini is smaller and more affordable, and it is positioned to be a good alternative to the Amazon Echo Dot. Meanwhile, the Home Max is bigger and offers better sound quality. As a result, it has a higher selling price.

Both are straightforward devices with smooth devices. And they both take advantage of Google’s more technically advanced Google Assistant.
